CONTRACTOR. The City of New Prague is requesting proposals from contractors to complete Prairie and Wetland Restoration work in Settlers Park. COURT-APPOINTED LEGAL SERVICES. February 2024 – Sherburne County District Court is soliciting proposals for Court-ordered legal representation services, including for actions involving Children’s Services (CHIPs & TPR). The attorney services will include providing legal representation for parties involved in the assigned case type. Representation shall include district court and appellate court representation. The Attorney shall perform all services that an attorney would be expected to perform if privately retained by the individual represented. DOWNTOWN MASTER PLAN. Mower County and the City of Austin are soliciting proposals for the development of two separate documents with items unique to each, but also addressing areas of joint cooperation and impact. The city’s document will also include a Downtown Master Plan as a component of the overall Comprehensive Plan. Proposals shall be inclusive and submitted to Holly Wallace, Planning and Zoning Administrator hollyw@ci.austin.mn.us any questions should also be directed to the same. ENGINEERING SERVICES. Afton is seeking proposals from firms qualified and experienced in the provision of municipal engineering services. The RFP is available on the home page of the city’s website at www.ci.afton.mn.us  under Announcements and Hearing Notices. GOLF CLUBHOUSE AND EVENT CENTER MANAGEMENT.  The City of Little Falls, Minnesota, will be receiving sealed proposals to provide Clubhouse and Event Center Management services as a part of the Little Falls Country Club. Proposals will be received by the City Administrator’s Office, 100 Northeast Seventh Avenue, P O Box 244, Little Falls, MN, 56345-0244, until 12:00 noon central time on March 26, 2024.  Proposals received after will be returned unopened. RFP’s are open for inspection and may be obtained at City Hall or on the City’s website at:  www.cityoflittlefalls.com. The City of Little Falls reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, and to readvertise.  The award, if made, will be made to the most responsive Proposer whose proposal is determined by the City, in its sole discretion, to be the most advantageous to the City. HEARING OFFICER SERVICES. The City of Scandia is soliciting proposals from attorneys to serve on an as-needed basis as a Scandia Hearing Officer to conduct fair and impartial hearings on code enforcement violations and make written decisions. The City Administrator will evaluate, select, and recommend proposals to the City Council. The City Council will make the final decision on the award of the Contract. LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. The League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust (LMCIT) is seeking firms and others that could potentially provide a learning management system on which it can place Peace officer Accredited Training OnLine (PATROL), an online training program that serves Minnesota law enforcement agencies. If your firm would like to be considered as part of this process, we are requesting you complete the Learning Platform RFQ Template (Minnesota), and email it to Laura Honeck, LMCIT Operations Manager, at lhoneck@hwanfei.com. Qualifications are due on or before March 1, 2024. All questions or clarifications must be in writing and submitted to Laura Honeck as well. LEGAL SERVICES. The Washington County Community Development Agency (the Agency) is inviting interested law firms with experience representing housing and redevelopment authorities and economic development authorities to submit written proposals to provide legal services for the Agency. The Agency is seeking proposals for general counsel as well as firms practicing in the areas of public finance, real estate, government relations, and appellate law. Contracts for service may start as early as May 2024. The Agency anticipates the original contract will be three (3) years in length with an option to extend an additional two (2) years. The firm or firms will be selected by the Agency’s Board of Commissioners and will work closely with the staff of the Agency. See the full RFP online. LEGAL SERVICES. The City of Arden Hills is requesting proposals for legal services from firms experienced in municipal law and representation of municipal clients as City Attorney. MANAGED IT SERVICES. The City of Pine City invites proposals from qualified companies to provide managed information technology (IT) services. The qualified company will enable the city to significantly improve IT effectiveness, enhance its quality of services, minimize its support costs and maximize return on investment in IT. The city will consider a three-year contract term with two optional one-year extensions if agreed by both the city and selected company. PARK PLANNING AND DESIGN SERVICES. The City of North St. Paul is soliciting proposals from experienced professional park planning and design consultants to develop a park design and project plan for three community parks—McKnight Fields, presently a 21.5-acre athletic complex, a new 2-acre passive park, and a new 0.34-acre pocket park. STRATEGIC PLANNING SERVICES. The City of Cottage Grove Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) invites proposals from established consulting firms for the creation of a Strategic Plan. Consulting firms with a successful track record of creating strategic plans that include dealing with the complexities of multiple public and private stakeholders and expertise in the tourism industry are preferred.
